There’s something about Disney during the holidays that just hits differently, and last season, I had the chance to experience Jollywood Nights at Hollywood Studios with some of my favorite people. Honestly? It was one of those nights I didn’t want to end. We arrived early, around 5:30 PM (yes, you can enter with your party ticket before the official start time!), which gave us time to soak in the atmosphere and catch Fantasmic! Watching that show with the holiday excitement already buzzing in the air was such a perfect way to kick off the evening. From the moment the party started at 7:30, the park felt completely transformed. It was like stepping into a vintage holiday postcard but with all the Disney sparkle you could hope for.
What really made the night stand out for me, though, was meeting all the seasonal characters. I don’t think I’ve ever seen so many unique and festive characters in one place. We met Mickey and Minnie in their glamorous Hollywood holiday best, and they looked absolutely stunning. One of the most exciting character moments? Running into Powerline Max and Phineas and Ferb, who were decked out for the holidays. The whole experience was full of these little magical interactions that just made the night so personal and joyful.
If I had to pick one highlight (and trust me, that’s hard), it would be the “What’s This? Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas Sing-Along.” I absolutely LOVED it. The energy in the theater was electric. Everyone was singing along, laughing, and just having the best time. Jack Skellington brought the perfect touch of festivity, and then, just when I thought it couldn’t get better… out came Oogie Boogie! His appearance totally stole the show and added just the right amount of spooky mischief to the fun. It was truly unforgettable!
Being there with friends, laughing between character meets, and taking in all the incredible entertainment made it one of my favorite Disney nights ever. This festive celebration is a special ticketed event on select nights. It is festive, family-friendly, and packed with unique holiday moments you won’t find anywhere else.
