I don’t know about you, but when I think of theme parks, I think of rides…and then food! I am a self-proclaimed foodie and love to snack in theme parks. I recently enjoyed Universal’s Epic Universe, and let me tell you, it did not disappoint!
If you’re headed to Epic Universe and want to snack your way through the park, you’re in for a treat (literally). From savory bites that pack a punch to over-the-top desserts that feel straight out of a foodie’s daydream, this new park is delivering on the flavors just as much as the thrills.
We’re going portal by portal, snacking across the Universe, and trust me—don’t read this blog while you’re hungry, because you may find yourself drooling before you hit the end. These picks aren’t ranked, just deliciously listed by portal.
So grab a napkin, and let’s dive in!
Celestial Park
Atlantic – Passion Fruit “Caviar”

Atlantic is where the ocean comes alive on your plate, and their Passion Fruit “Caviar” dessert is nothing short of magical. Before you panic—no, you’re not about to eat fish eggs. These are boba-like pearls of passion fruit on top of a silky chocolate mousse with a crunchy hazelnut base. It’s served in a little tin with a fish design, making it just as cute as it is delicious.
The tart fruit, creamy chocolate, and nutty crunch all balance perfectly, giving you a flavor bomb in every spoonful. For $12, it feels like a fancy, creative treat. Would I recommend this for kids? Probably not, unless your little one has a refined palate. But for adventurous adults? Don’t plan on sharing—I didn’t.
Frosty Moon- Ice Cream

Now here’s one for the whole family. Because who doesn’t like ice cream? Frosty Moon keeps it simple and nostalgic with a bit of a celestial twist: six ice cream flavors, cup or cone, and your pick of two toppings. Sometimes less really is more. I went with classic chocolate in a cup with sprinkles—simple, but exactly what I wanted.
It’s not just good, creamy, out of this universe ice cream that feels timeless, but it’s Instagram worthy too. Sometimes you just need a cold treat to cool down in the Florida heat.
Super Nintendo World
The Bubbly Barrel- DK Crush Float

This is the snack everyone is going bananas for (pun totally intended). I’m sure you have seen this barrel of goodness on Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook. But does it live up to the hype? For $19, you get a souvenir DK barrel cup filled with pineapple Fanta, topped with a waffle cone stuffed with banana cream Dole Whip, plus caramel popcorn, chocolate pieces, and sprinkles.
As an avid Dole Whip fan, the banana cream Dole Whip is the star of this treat. It is also by far the most confusing snack you will try at EPIC. It’s part drink, part dessert, part fever dream—but it works. Sweet, salty, tart, crunchy, creamy… your tastebuds don’t know what’s happening, but they’re happy about it. It’s definitely shareable, and though I personally liked the chaotic combo, if you’re a picky eater, maybe skip it. But if you love fun food mashups, this is the one to try.
Dark Universe
The Burning Blade- Burning Cheddar Bites

These might just be the most surprising snack in the park. This snack plays tricks on your mind. At first glance, they look like charred lumps of coal, and make you second guess trying them. But bite into one, and you’re met with warm, gooey, cheesy perfection. Dip them in the creamy sriracha ranch and it’s game over.
This was high up on the list of must tries for me and has become a treat I crave every time I look at the picture. Yes, it’s that good! If you like a little kick the burning cheddar bites pack that subtle punch. I wouldn’t say your mouth will be on fire, but if any type of spiciness will affect you then this treat is a no go. But, if you want to spice things up this is it.
You get nine pieces for $12, but here’s my advice: don’t share. I gave away a few and instantly regretted it. Lesson learned.
The Burning Blade- Hunter’s Garlic Stake

This one is for the garlic lovers (aka me). It’s basically a giant, twisted garlic knot pretzel with a buttery garlic glaze. Dip it in the garlic sauce and you’ve got yourself vampire-repellent in snack form.
At $9, it’s comforting, flavorful, and honestly addicting. I’d eat garlic everything if I could, so this one instantly won me over. If you aren’t a fan of garlic, this one isn’t for you–but be warned, it might be the only thing warding off the vampires in Dark Universe.
De Lacey’s Cottage- Warm Hearted Cinnamon Roll Bites

Imagine Cinnabon and donut holes had a baby—that’s what you get here. Warm, gooey cinnamon bites topped with cream cheese icing and sugar. You get eight for $9, and they are rich. These are best for sharing, unless you want to go into a sugar coma (no judgment), but personally I can’t eat 8 of them.
They’re filling, cozy, and exactly the kind of snack you want if you have a sweet tooth. I have to point out if you aren’t a cream cheese fan the icing may be a bit too much for you, as I found it was tasty, but could have used a bit less cream cheesiness. Still delicious and worth every bite.
The Ministry of Magic
Cafe L’air De La Sirene- Butterbeer Crepe

Butterbeer lovers, rejoice! For $20, you get two crêpes stuffed with butterscotch sauce, topped with whipped cream, strawberries, and a little shortbread cookie stamped with a crest. It’s decadent, indulgent, and kind of magical.
This is definitely a shareable snack (it’s very rich), but the combo of strawberries, butterbeer, and fluffy crêpe is perfect. Honestly? I never want butterbeer without crêpes again.
Isle of Berk
Spit Fyre Grill/ Hooligan’s Grog and Gruel- PB & J Mac and Cheese Cone

When you hear “mac and cheese” in a theme park, you’re probably thinking of the bright orange boxed kind like I was. Nope! This is on a whole other level.
The cone is soft yet crisp bread, stuffed with creamy mac and cheese, then topped with PB&J—BBQ harissa pulled pork, maple candy bacon, and peanut bacon jam. It’s truly something wild, but wonderful.
This one is $14, filling enough for a small meal, and honestly covers every flavor profile in one bite. Pro tip: skip the long line at Hooligan’s and mobile order it at Spit Fyre Grill instead to get it much faster.
Final Thoughts
Epic Universe didn’t just show up with epic rides—it came swinging with epic snacks too. Whether you’re an adventurous eater looking to try something totally new (hello, Passion Fruit “Caviar”) or a parent who just needs a classic ice cream break for the kids, there’s something for everyone.
My advice? Pace yourself. Share snacks where you can, so you don’t crash and burn before you get to dessert. And don’t be afraid to step outside your comfort zone—you may just find your new favorite treat in the most unexpected portal.
