Summer Disney Discounts

Exciting News for Disney Fans (& Their Budget-Minded Partners): Summer Discounts Are Here!

If you listen closely you can hear summer calling. Most schools have less than 7 weeks left until summer! And while the list of things for you to do between now and the end of the year is not a short one (34,785 baseball and soccer games, dance recitals, not to mention with muffins for mom and preschool graduation ceremonies…you don’t want me to go on) I’m here to show you the light at the end of the tunnel.

Disney just released A LOT of discounted summer options that will give you a trip to remember without crushing the budget. I’m breaking them down for you and including some of the cheapest travel dates to visit Disney this summer! Ready to travel but don’t want to add one more thing to your already growing list? Already booked but not sure you’re getting the best deal? You can reach out to me here and skip the reading. It’s ok, I know you’re busy.

Time to slow down and eat dole whip at the Polynesian!

1. Magical Savings on Rooms:

For check-in dates running now through October 3, 2024, you can save up to 30% on resort stays when you stay 5 consecutive nights or longer at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel. Or you can save up to 25% off rack hotel rates on 1-4 night stays. The percentage savings depends on the resort you choose and the nightly rates will vary based on your dates, so be sure to check with your Smart Moms Travel Agent to make sure you’re getting the right deal for your family this summer. Hot tip: Sunday-Thursday nights typically see a lower rate so try to get the majority of your vacation to fall during those times! This summer all of June and July Sunday-Thursday rates are similar but the cheapest travel rates you’ll see in August fall during the 4-8, 11-15 and 18-29!

We love staying at the Polynesian, especially during the summer!

2. Magical Savings on Tickets:

Disney is breaking the mold this summer with a new ticket deal that has left people (it’s me, I’m people) scratching their heads. You can visit 3 Walt Disney World theme parks for $267 + tax per person! Sounds exciting right? Here’s the catch, you can only visit Hollywood Studios, Animal Kingdom, and Epcot with those tickets. That’s right, no Magic Kingdom allowed. However, they brought back a fan favorite, and for only $316 + tax per person, you can visit all 4 parks (select dates only). So would you skip Magic Kingdom to save $50 per person? If so, talk to your agent about the 3-day deal. Don’t think a visit to the magic isn’t complete without the castle? Talk to your agent about the 4-day deal. But I wouldn’t skip Magic Kingdom this summer if I were you. With Tiana’s Bayou Adventure making its debut, it’s the place to be! These ticket deals can save up to $283 per person, and while Disney doesn’t let you stack multiple discounts onto a resort package, our agents know how to structure your trip so you can get the ticket deal and the resort stay discount. Don’t miss your chance to save money on tickets this summer!

Would a trip to Disney be complete without a visit to Magic Kingdom for you?
There’s something magical about each Disney park!

3. Magical savings on Food:

If you’ve ever considered signing up for the Disney Visa card, now is the time! For select nights in July, September and wait for it….DECEMBER! You can get a FREE dining plan added to your trip when you purchase a non-discounted vacation package with your Disney Visa Card. If you’re thinking of taking the family to Disney in December as a Christmas gift, I HIGHLY suggest looking into this deal. I have this card and always use the points I earn on our trips!

Picture of coffee on main street- did you know any size coffee from starbucks counts as a snack for the dining plan? Makes for the perfect excuse to order the venti
