Here’s What Happened When I Took My 2 Little Princesses to Disney’s Most Magical Meal

Taking my daughters to Disney World is one of my greatest joys as a mom. Seeing their eyes sparkle with wonder at every little bit of magic is something I’ll hold onto forever, but this trip was truly special. We’d been dreaming about Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique and dining at Cinderella’s Royal Table for months. They couldn’t wait to get glammed up, twirl in their princess gowns, and walk inside the castle to meet their favorite princesses. I’d been waiting for the right time to make it happen, and everything came together perfectly on this trip. As a mom who grew up loving Disney, moments like these feel like passing on a little piece of my childhood magic.
Our morning was already packed with magic. We kicked off the day by meeting Mickey right there on Main Street. Then we hopped on the Walt Disney World Railroad, which felt nostalgic since it had been closed for a long time while they built Tron. I hadn’t realized how much I’d missed that classic ride around the park.
At noon, it was time for a big moment: our appointment at Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique. My girls, ages 7 and 5, were completely transformed with glitter, makeup, and princess gowns. They felt like royalty, and I couldn’t stop snapping pictures and videos of their smiles.
Then, right at 1 p.m., we had our reservation for Cinderella’s Royal Table. Our fairy godmother-in-training personally escorted us to the entrance of the castle, where we were greeted by Cinderella herself. It is the perfect way to start our royal dining experience.

After our royal greeting with Cinderella, we walked up the grand spiral staircase to the dining room, and it felt like stepping into a real-life fairytale. The high ceilings and the view from inside the castle windows made it feel like we were attending a royal banquet. If you have little ones who dream of castles and princesses, this experience is pure magic. My girls were completely enchanted from the moment we walked in.

As we settled into our seats, the real magic began. The princesses came to visit each table! One by one, we got to meet Ariel, Jasmine, Aurora, and Snow White. Each princess took time to chat, pose for photos, and make my girls feel special. My girls were completely starstruck and soaked up every moment. The interaction was personal and magical, and the princesses made sure every child in the room felt noticed. It wasn’t rushed at all — just the right amount of time for a little conversation, photos, and those sweet Disney memories we all dream of.

I’ll be honest…I went into Cinderella’s Royal Table with pretty low expectations for the food. Let’s be honest, you’re paying for the experience. But guess what? I was pleasantly surprised! The meal is a prix fixe menu with an appetizer, entrée, and dessert. And because we’re a family of carnivores, we all ordered the steak. It was delicious and cooked correctly. Honestly, I was happy we got something that felt worthy of the price tag (because, let’s face it, at CRT, you want to get your money’s worth!). The desserts were adorable; my girls were obsessed with the “paint-your-own” cupcakes.

Now, let’s talk about the elephant in the room: CRT is expensive. Our meal for four came out to about $350 (including tax and tip). I won’t sugarcoat it… that’s a big chunk of change for one meal. But here’s the thing… you’re not just paying for a meal. You’re paying for the memory of eating in Cinderella’s castle, meeting princesses, and watching your kids light up with joy. My girls couldn’t stop smiling, and they still talk about it.
Would I do it again? Maybe. This was a very special trip for my family, and it was our first time doing Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique and Cinderella’s Royal Table. The whole day was centered around this experience, and my girls were beyond excited — it was the main thing they had been looking forward to for weeks. For this trip, it was absolutely worth it. Seeing their faces light up as they twirled in princess dresses and met their favorite princesses inside the castle was pure magic. I’m so glad we made those memories.
Would I book it again every trip? Probably not. But for a first-time experience or a special celebration, it’s something I’ll never forget. It made our day at Magic Kingdom feel truly royal, and that’s something my girls will be talking about for years.

Here are some tips to help make your CRT experience even more magical:
- Book early! Reservations open 60 days in advance, and CRT is one of the hardest to snag. If you don’t get it right away, keep checking. I didn’t get my exact time until about a week before.
- Dress the kids up! Princess dresses make it so much more magical for little ones. And don’t forget autograph books!
- Breakfast is cheaper! If you want to save a little, consider booking breakfast instead of lunch or dinner.
- Know what to expect. CRT is more about the atmosphere and experience than the food, so you won’t be disappointed if you go in knowing that.
